Optimized CjBlue for Aspergillus niger with a linker (GS)x5

CjBlue is a kind of chromoprotein that exhibits strong color when expressed. The part BBa_K592011 works well in prokaryote. However, it may not work well in eukaryotes. To improve the function of the part BBa_K592011, we synthesis this part BBa_K1485001. We add a linker GSGSGSGSGS after the prefix so that someone who wants to make a fusion protein can ligate their part before our part and two kinds of protein will work as usual.


This part is codon-optimized for expression in A.niger and express cjBlue chromoprotein. Codon optimization results was present here. The CAI-Value of cjBlue before codon opimization is 0.202,while the one after codon opimization is 0.985. NeauCjbluebefore.png NEAUCJBULE.png
